The restaurant's design stands out for its unique integration of performance interaction elements, creating a music restaurant atmosphere. The seating arrangement subverts the traditional multi-table layout, instead focusing on precision, tranquility, and scenery. This allows each customer to enjoy their meal while experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the northwest from their seats.
The design process involved the introduction of a large area of yellow mud wall, facilitating a dialogue between culture and people. The blank spaces in many areas embody the Oriental mood, reflecting the elegance and simplicity of the traditional East. The project, covering a total of 1000 square meters, is a testament to the designer's ability to balance form and function.
The design process was not without its challenges. The banquet hall's design had to continue the classical elements of Chinese style. The ceiling is made of a wooden sunk panel structure, with arc fillet treatment. This intentional enlargement of the scale enhances the sense of space and avoids the feeling of overcrowding. The design achieves a dynamic and static combination with the single stand area outside the hall.
The restaurant's design goes beyond the catering nature of the project, introducing functions such as exhibition, performance, and party. The designers broke the traditional layout mode and enhanced the integration of culture. The Yellow River Valley, the center of the Loess Plateau cultural circle, served as the design idea, and brick carving art was incorporated into the interior, allowing people to appreciate the diverse cultures of the ancient and modern world.
The Revived Memory restaurant design was recognized with the Iron A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. This accolade is awarded to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The award is a testament to the design's fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
